GVC launches new Italian Bingo 3.0 Platform
GVC has revamped its Italian bingo offer with the launch of Bingo 3.0, a new platform serving the Group’s B2C brands in Italy – as well as its network of 27 B2B partners. The advanced platform is fully compliant with new regulation which has brought major changes to the Italian online bingo sector and expanded the range of game variants permitted.
Bingo 3.0 brings in a range of major improvements over its predecessor. The frontend lobby and client software are now HTML5 based, while the graphical presentation has been completely restyled to offer a fresh, contemporary look and feel.
A number of new game variants have been introduced including; Italia30, a quick-play 30 ball game; and Zaffiro75, which offers 1, 2, 3 and 4 line prizes. In addition quirky ‘smorfia’ voices with regional dialects are featured throughout and gameplay has been speeded up with individual rounds now 14% faster. The HTML5 client also enables the launch of new dynamic mobile apps, which can be downloaded or played directly in-browser, replacing the more static native apps previously on offer.
GVC is also delighted to announce that leading Italian operator Lottomatica, has joined the Group’s bingo network with immediate effect. In a win-win agreement for both parties, Lottomatica customers are now enjoying an enhanced product offer, while the additional liquidity brought with their player base, cements GVC’s position as the clear number one bingo network in the Italian market.
Commenting on the announcement, GVC’s Chief Operating Officer, Shay Segev said:
“We are excited to unveil our new Italian bingo platform which we believe is now the best in the market. We are confident our customer’s will love the new games and player experience, while the technical capabilities of the platform means that we are ideally positioned to adapt to any new technical requirements. “
Moreno Marasco, bwin Italia’s Managing Director, joined Shay in expressing the satisfaction of the Italian team:
“The fact that Lottomatica have joined our network is a huge vote of confidence in the new platform and extends position as the number one bingo operator in Italy.”
