GVC, a multinational e-gaming operator in both b2c and b2b markets, is pleased to announce that, with immediate effect, it has appointed Cenkos Securities plc as its Nominated Adviser and broker.
The Company also announces the appointment of Bell Pottinger plc as the Group’s new financial public relations adviser with immediate effect. Bell Pottinger, founded in 1987, is a leading investor relations and financial communications consultancy with more than 250 public relations specialists and 60 partners. Bell Pottinger has a global presence with offices in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Trading Update
GVC takes this opportunity to provide a trading update, the last trading update being 22 September, shortly before the close of the third quarter.
- Full third quarter Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) per day averaged €646k per day, a 24% increase on the comparable third quarter of 2013 and up from the €628k per day reported on 22 September
- Trading is strong across all major territories and brands, reflecting the Company’s focus on achieving a World Cup legacy through its brand-building and marketing initiatives over the last year
- Trading in the first half of October has continued strongly with NGR of €800k per day, 24% higher than the previous quarter and over 50% higher than in the same period in 2013. This is the result of both growth and a strong sports margin of 12.4%
On 22 September, the Company announced to shareholders and investors a second interim dividend of 12.5 €cents per share augmented by a 2.5 €cents per share special dividend based upon its strong trading in the 2014 World Cup. The shares went “ex-dividend” on Thursday 9 October 2014 and the dividends are payable on Monday 3 November 2014, to those shareholders on the register on Friday 10 October 2014.
GVC anticipates providing a further trading update on or before 19 December 2014.
