GVC and Rambler Media to launch bwin branded sports betting offer in Russia

GVC Holdings PLC (LSE:GVC), the multinational sports betting and gaming group and Digital Betting LTD, supported by Rambler&Co, the Russian media group, are pleased to announce they have formed a multi-year partnership to offer a bwin branded sports betting product to customers in the Russian Federation.

Under the terms of this ground breaking partnership, GVC will supply its market-leading technology platform, support services and sports betting product, along with a licence to use the internationally recognised bwin brand mark. Digital Betting will operate the service under its Russian online gaming licence. The new bwin.ru site is expected to launch later this year and will be available via both desktop and mobile devices.

The partnership, which brings together one of Russia’s largest and most innovative online media companies with one of the world’s most popular gaming brands, will be amongst the first licensed online betting services offered in Russia and it is anticipated it will take a leading position in the market.
