Dividends
In line with the Group's progressive dividend policy, the Board has proposed a total dividend for 2024 of c£119m, (18.6p per share), paid to shareholders in equal instalments with H1 and FY results. As such a second interim dividend of c£60m (9.3p per share), is expected to be paid on 25 April 2025 to shareholders on register on 14 March 2025.
Chequeless dividend payments
We would like to inform our shareholders that Entain plc intends to cease paying ordinary share dividends by cheque and will pay these dividends by direct transfers to shareholders’ bank or building society accounts. The first chequeless payments will be made no later than the start of 2026, prior to which shareholders will need to complete and return a bank mandate instruction to our registrars, Link Group. *On 6 April 2020 the Group announced that due to the ongoing uncertainty as to how long restrictions as a result of COVID-19 would be in place around the world, the Board took the prudent decision to withdraw the payment of the second interim dividend of 17.6p per share announced on 5 March 2020.
